The J13 and J14 rowers competed at the Eversham Junior Head Race this weekend where they recorded the following results:
Well done to the Women’s Junior 13 Quadruple sculls who recorded 1st and 3rd places in their races.
Congratulations to one of our J12s who was third in the Women’s Junior 13 Single Scull. A great achievement!
The J14s had a successful day with a 2nd and 3rd place recorded in the Women’s Junior 14 Quadruple sculls.
Evesham is a small event with only a few clubs involved. However, it was encouraging to see that these results were recorded with Headington mixing the crews so that the crews demonstrated strength across the squad. The focus at this stage of the season is to continue to develop the junior age groups.
Thank you to all the parents for your support and encouragement. A great day for all involved.
