Information for Parents

Dear Parents,

As I am sure you are aware, the J12 event at Reading Amateur Regatta was cancelled and our girls were unable to race this weekend. We are currently looking at running a replacement event on Sunday 29th June 2014. More details will follow this week once the options have been fully considered and the logistics have been finalised.

Dear Parents,

Last weekend was fantastic. Great to see the Novices racing and great to see so many parents supporting at the event. The girls have made so much progress this year. I was very impressed to see how the girls managed after the tough winter. A true testament to the strength of character of the girls in that group.

Dear Parents,

The Novices and J13s will compete at Maidenhead Junior Regatta on Sunday 18th May 2014.

This is a perfect opportunity for Headington to go away to a new course and race under regatta conditions. This will allow the girls to get some practice on getting onto the start and getting a race.

Provisional plan stands:

Please see the message below from the Schools of Sport organisers. It is a fantastic opportunity to not only develop rowing skills over the summer but also to partake in other sports that the Schools of Sport organise.
