Dear Parents and Athletes,
This is to confirm that there will be supper available at 5:30pm for girls that are attending rowing training on Monday 7th December before the HSOBC music evening. There may be a small charge for this meal if your daughter is not a boarder.
I am very much looking forward to the event and I hope to see many of you there on the night.
Due to the high winds forecast for this Saturday (5th December) we have decided to move training for all squads from Godstow up to the the school gym.
The timings will run as follows:
J14s: Gym 8am to 10am then Godstow till 12pm
J15s - Seniors: Gym 8am to 12pm
Sunday 6th December is off for all squads.
Due to the adverse weather forecast this weekend we have decided to move training on Saturday to the gym for all squads, please see below for details.
The forecast for Sunday looks much better so we are looking to run training as normal at the river, it will however be very cold so please ensure that your daughter comes prepared with adequate clothing.
We would like to invite you to the annual Boat Club Music Evening which is taking place on Monday 7th December from 6.30pm in the main school hall.
All the rowers will have supper provided at school and then join their parents for the concert.
The 4th October is currenty down as a day off but given the time lost from the water due to trips, Girls go Gold and fog we are planning to run sessions as normal for the J15s to Seniors at Godstow from 8am to 12pm on Sunday 4th October 2015 (day after Reading Small Boats Head).
Please see below a message from Jane Currie about a cake and coffee morning to be held at Godstow on 26th September 2015 for all parents. It would be fantastic to see any many people as possible. Please come down any time from 11am.
