Dear Parents and Athletes,

Arrangements for Evesham Junior Head:

There will be 3 divisions at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:30 raced over 1900m (J13s will race over 1400m). Headington have entered crews into divisions 1 and 2 only. Please note that all girls must use school transport to get to the event unless she has permission from the Head of Rowing to meet us at the race venue. If your daughter is racing in Division 2 only  and wishes to arrive later there is no school transport available, she will need to make her own way to the event and ensure that she is there by 09:00 at the latest.

The purpose of these early events is to get the girls into good habits and routines for the season and for future races. With that in mind please do not help the girls with rigging or with carrying their boats.

The Draw:

The draw is yet to be made but rowers will be told their crews and events early this week.

Please keep an eye on the event website for the published draw.

The bus will depart at 6:00am at the latest. Please meet outside the school gate on Headley Way at 5:50am. Please note that there are boarders and girls who may be sleeping. YOU MUST NOT MAKE ANY NOISE outside the boarding house but rather wait outside the gate. Transport is available back from Evesham however, where possible, please can parents arrange transport back. No girls may depart the event until the trailers are fully loaded.
