Notices

All notices for all squads follow.  For specific squad notices please use the squad list.

Dear Parents,

As per the boat club calendar we are planning to attend the following events this term:

Hampton Head (J14 to Seniors) on 6th February 2016

Henley 4s & 8s Head (J14 to J15) on 13th February 2016.

Reading University Head (J15 - Seniors) on 27th February 2016

Women's Head of the River (J16 - Seniors) on 5th March 2016

Dear Parents and Athletes,

The river level has dropped enough since yesterday for us to run a normal session at the river for the J16 and senior rowers tomorrow (Sunday 17th Jan 2016). Training will run from 8am to 12pm at Godstow.

There will be a minibus departing the gym at 7:45 and returning by 12:30 for those who need transport.

Dear Parents,

Although the river level is beginning to drop it is still quite fast and high and I do not think it safe enough for the J15s to go afloat this weekend. Training for the J15s will be at the school gym again tomorrow (Sunday 17th January 2016) from 8am to 12pm.

Kind regards,

Chris Hermes

Dear Parents and Athletes,

Dear Parents,

I have just been down to the river at Godstow and the water is still very high and fast.

J15 training will therefore be at the school gym on Saturday 16th January 2016. The timings are as follows:

Saturday 16th January 2016 - 8am to 12pm at the gym

Dear Parents,

I have just been down to the river at Godstow and the water is still very high and fast, it is extremely unlikely that the river will drop enough over the course of the weekend for the J14 squad to safely go on the water.

Dear Parents,

Dear Parents,

This is to confirm that there will be supper available at 5:30pm for girls that are attending rowing training on Monday 7th December before the HSOBC music evening. There may be a small charge for this meal if your daughter is not a boarder.

I am very much looking forward to the event and I hope to see many of you there on the night.

Many thanks,

Dear Parents,

Due to the high winds forecast for this Saturday (5th December) we have decided to move training for all squads from Godstow up to the the school gym.

The timings will run as follows:

J14s: Gym 8am to 10am then Godstow till 12pm

J15s - Seniors: Gym 8am to 12pm
