Dear Parents and Athletes,
Arrangements for Pangbourne Junior Sculls 2016:
There will be 2 divisions at 10:30 and 13:30 raced over 2750m downstream on the Pangbourne stretch of the River Thames: Headington have entered crews into both divisions. Please note that all girls must use school transport to get to the event unless only in racing in Division 2 or if she has permission from the Head of Rowing to meet us at Pangbourne. If your daughter is racing in Division 2 only and wishes to arrive later there is no school transport available, she will need to make her own way to the event and ensure that she is there by 11am at the latest.
The purpose of the first event is to get the girls into good habits and routines for the season. With that in mind please do not help the girls with rigging or with carrying their boats.
The draw can be found on the event website
The bus will depart at 7:15am at the latest. Please meet outside the school gate on Headley Way at 7am. Please note that there are boarders and girls who may be sleeping. YOU MUST NOT MAKE ANY NOISE outside the boarding house but rather wait outside the gate. Transport is available back from Pangbourne however, where possible, please can parents arrange transport back from the event. No girls may depart the event until the trailer is fully loaded.
