The 4th October is currenty down as a day off but given the time lost from the water due to trips, Girls go Gold and fog we are planning to run sessions as normal for the J15s to Seniors at Godstow from 8am to 12pm on Sunday 4th October 2015 (day after Reading Small Boats Head).
Please see below a message from Jane Currie about a cake and coffee morning to be held at Godstow on 26th September 2015 for all parents. It would be fantastic to see any many people as possible. Please come down any time from 11am.
Please can I draw your attention to the changes to the calendar on Sunday 20th September 2015. St Edwards school has informed us that on that day they are hosting a large Canoeing event and that there will be no access to the boathouse. I have therefore moved training to the gym on that day with timings as follows:
J14: Gym 10am-12pm
J15: Gym 8am-12pm
Please note that Henley Women’s Regatta is on Saturday 20th (J18 8+, J18 4+, J18 2x, J16 4x & 4+) and Sunday 21st June 2015 for those that make it through the rounds.
J8+ (Racing for The Peabody Cup). First race: Saturday 20th, 10:36.
Please find the training plan for the remainder of the school term detailed below.
Please note that girls going to Dorney on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th May for HSOBC trials will be decided after an ergo assessment on Wednesday 27th May, there are sessions from 4 to 6pm at Godstow on the 28th and 29th for those girls who are not required to trial at Dorney.
Since the exam period is now upon us we have again decided to make all weekday evening sessions finish at 6pm so the girls can have a little more time for revision.
