Writer: chermes5chermes5

FRIENDS OF HSOBC FUNDRAISING EVENING: SATURDAY 22nd MARCH 2025

6:00pm - 9:30pm at The Hive Gallery, Headington Rye Oxford, OX3 7TD

The Friends of HSOBC are pleased to warmly invite you to our annual fundraising evening for the Boat Club.

This event has always been one of the highlights of the HSOBC’s calendar and we have

much to celebrate both on and off the water. The Boat Club’s enrolment is at all-time

high, the 2024 season saw tremendous success from all squad groups both domestically and internationally! The 2025 season got off to a roaring success with a 3rd place finish at Head of The Charles, USA for the WJ18 4x+ and 1st place at Quintin Head for the WJ15 8+.

Please join us for a night of celebrating our rowers, socialising and raising much needed

funds for the Club. We will raise a toast with a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival and enjoy canapés and food bowls with a pay bar open throughout the evening. There will be a raffle and silent auction with all proceeds going directly to the Club to enable the rowers to have the most up-to-date equipment and resources in keeping with its world class reputation!

The dress code is Cocktail Attire and Rowing Blazers. Last row at 9:30pm but please

feel free to leave your car in the School’s car park overnight for collection on Sunday.

Tickets are £70 per person and to be purchased by Saturday 8th March.

The Friends of HSOBC look forward to a wonderful evening and hope you will join us!
