Schools Head 2024

School’s Head, on the 20th of March, had the greatest turnout of Headington rowers. With 5 eights racing, there were outstanding performances across the club. Many of the girls had competed 2 weeks prior at the Women’s Head, so the team was excited to have another run on the Tideway.

The first VIII won in the champ 8+ category, followed closely by Shiplake. The 2nd VIII came second in their category behind Henley Rowing Club and the 3rd VIII won their respective category. For the J16s, the first VIII came third, coming just 5 seconds after 1st place, and the second VIII won their respective category.

Well done to everyone that raced, what an excellent showcase of our squad’s depth and talent to end the head racing season!
